Here at Rappelz Master, we beleive that the players should have a place in govorning their own community.
Thats why i have created the ranking system!
When you register for your free Rappelz Master account you automatically becaome a
member. Members already have a star by their name because the first step to making a great community is of course joining that community.
Once you become a member and start participating, your posts are accounted for. When you have made 75 post you advance to
Active Member. This rank shows two stars by your name and proves that you are an active member in your Rappelz Master community.
After you have made 150 posts you become a
Skilled Member. (3 stars) Being a skilled member means that not only do you participate a great deal in you community, but you have a nak for finding places to make yourself heard.
Once you have acheived 225 posts you become an
Advanced member. (4 stars) Advanced member's have shown that they have a constant interest in Rappelz Master and that they continue to participate in our forums. When an Advanced member puts a complaint or suggestion in the suggestion or complaint section, the topic is taken down and created into a poll in the mod only section. These complaints/suggestions are voted on by the mods and a decision will be made. In other words, Advanced Members are the first step in being able to create direct changes in the forum.
The final rank that can be acheived by the number of posts is
Senior Member. Senior members have shown outstanding participation in Rappelz Master forums. They have the same privaleges as an Advanced Member and are given the chance to advance one more rank. Once you become a senior member you can apply in the master aplication section. When a senior member submits an application for master rank, that member's overall participation and posts are scrutinized. Mods will look into many of your posts and how the community reacts to your participation.
Master rank is only acheived through application or as an award for something special acheived on Rappelz Master. Master ranks have their own name color, they graduate from the star ranks and are given their own MASTER symbol. Masters have a special section that only they can see and post in. This is not a difficult rank to acheive once you have made senior member rank. The only reason that a senior member would not be accepted into master status is if they cheated on their posts (posted many topics/posts of useless material) or if they were harmfull to the community. Master rank is the highest rank that can be acheived under moderator and administrator.
Occasionally when the need for more help on Rappelz Master is called for, (due to the fact that Rappelz Master is constantly growing) the Mod signup section will be made available to all members. When you see this section anbody may post an application.
Finally (and sadly) there is the
Parasite rank. As we all know, every forum has its annoying people. these people include spammers, flamers, and flat out unhelpfull people. you CAN NOT become a parasite by not making enough posts (that would be rediculous). You can only become a parasite by being harmful to the community. Parasites have no stars next to their name and are hand picked by the administrator. Moderators can suggest demotion to parasite rank as well. When you become a parasite you are put on probation. The next time a parasite is seen to be harmfull to the community, he will be temporarily banned. After your warning you will not be given any other chances, one more offense means PERMENANT BAN. To be promoted out of parasite rank you have to show outstanding improvement in the forums. We beleive that people can change...becoming a parasite does not exclude you from being able to acheive master rank; however, moderator status will be out of the question.
